Can I rent gear locally?+
Yes — Massouri has shops dedicated to climbing gear a few minutes' walk away, renting ropes, quickdraws, shoes and harnesses. Take a stroll and compare — you'll quickly find what suits you.
Do I need a car?+
A scooter covers most sectors; a car is handy for Sikati Cave, Iannis and north-island days. Car or scooter — the choice is entirely yours, and rental offices are easy to find on the island.
Is it too hot to climb in July?+
Most climbers come in March–May and September–November. June, July and August are very hot and rarely chosen for climbing — only the shaded caves (Grande Grotta, Odyssey, Jurassic Park) remain workable in the early morning.
